Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Ruth loved school and worked very hard, even when people told her girls couldn't.

She became a lawyer and argued cases so that women could have the same rights as men.

Later she became a Supreme Court judge — one of only nine in the whole country.

When she disagreed, she said so, kindly but clearly, in her famous dissents.

Kids everywhere called her 'The Notorious RBG' because she was so brave.
