The Moon Landing

For a long, long time, people looked up at the Moon and wondered what it felt like up there.

So America built a huge rocket taller than a building and named it Apollo 11.

Three astronauts climbed inside, and 'whoooosh!' — the rocket zoomed up into space.

Two of them, Neil and Buzz, stepped down onto the Moon in bouncy white spacesuits.

Neil said, 'That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind' — and the whole world watched on TV.
