Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo was born in a little town in Italy and loved sketching birds and flowers.

He grew up to be a painter, and painted the most famous smile in the world — the Mona Lisa.

But he was much more than a painter — he studied water, stars, and how our bodies work.

He filled thousands of notebook pages with drawings of flying machines and tiny inventions.

Even today, we still call people 'a real da Vinci' when they love learning about everything.
