John Lewis

John grew up on a farm and used to preach to the chickens for practice.

As a young man, he marched with Dr. King for fairness and equal rights.

He led a peaceful walk across a bridge in Selma, even when it was dangerous.

Later he became a congressman and served for over thirty years.

He always told young people to speak up — and get into 'good trouble.'
