Frank Lloyd Wright

Frank grew up in Wisconsin playing with wooden blocks his mother gave him.

Those blocks stayed with him — he became an architect who built like a giant kid.

He designed houses with long low roofs that seemed to grow right out of the ground.

His most famous house, Fallingwater, sits right on top of a waterfall.

Over a thousand of his buildings still stand today.
